  1. I think that this bill would be a good thing for California's taxes but I don't understand how they would regulate it when people can still grow out of their backyard.

  2. There is so much complication with regulation of Marijuana. It seems to me that the social consequences would be worse than the economic benefits of legalization

  3. But we are in a very big regression and it almost might be another depression so I think that the economic benefits over power the social, because they are also spending a lot of money on people who are going to jail for possession of weed.

  4. With the legalization of Marijuana comes an increase in Marijuana use. That means more and more people become regular users and have the potential for being dependent. The average cost of outpatient marijuana treatment for one person is between $837 and $3334 per episode. To me it seems like it’s just a trade off of the government spending money to enforce prohibition and losing the tax money or paying for community programs to treat Marijuana dependencies.

  5. Its true that we are spending a thousand to 3 thousand dollars for marijuana treatment but that has to be considerably cheaper than other treatments. Plus the government spending that would be lost wouldn't be that big of a problem because their would be around 1.3 billion dollars gained through taxation.
